The week of January 22 to 27, 2024, marked an important milestone for the GHM Project funded by the World Bank, as part of the SWEDD (Sahel Women’s Empowerment and Demographic Dividend) program. An intensive training session for the data collection teams took place at the KAIZEN room, led by renowned international experts.

This training brought together over 60 individuals, including more than 55 female enumerators and 7 male enumerators, who were recruited for the midline survey data collection for the SWEDD 2 project, funded by the World Bank. The training featured knowledge exchange and experiences, highlighting the crucial role each member plays in achieving the goals of the GHM project.

Practical exercises and the pilot survey were key steps in preparing the data collection team for the midline study of the GHM/World Bank – SWEDD project. The participants had the opportunity to apply the skills they acquired during the theoretical training by simulating data collection scenarios in the field.
