SISTA participated in the second edition of the training workshops organized by Afrobarometer, held from August 21 to 23, 2024, in Dakar. This initiative, in partnership with the Consortium for Economic and Social Research (CRES), brought together representatives from civil society and journalists from over 15 French-speaking African and Maghreb countries.
The training aimed to strengthen the skills of journalists and civil society organizations in data analysis and utilization. Cheikh Haidara, journalist and representative of SISTA, had the opportunity to benefit from this intensive training, focusing on acquiring new skills in data analysis, the Afrobarometer data collection methodology, and its integration into journalistic reporting.
