Launch of the 3rd Round of the SWEDD Project Baseline Survey

On May 30th, the launch of the third round of the SWEDD project baseline survey (Sahel Women’s Empowerment and Demographic Dividend) took place. The survey will be conducted in six wilayas within the project’s intervention zone: Brakna, Gorgol, Guidimagha, Assaba, Hodh El Gharbi, and Hodh Chargui.

The SWEDD project aims to strengthen the empowerment of women and accelerate the demographic transition in the Sahel region.
